What is CNC machining?


Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining is a kind of manufacturing process, before knowing CNC machining, let us figure out the catagoriy of manufacturing process.


In gernal so far, there are 3 types of manufacturing process that can be catagorized into additive manufacturing(AM) also calls 3D printing,   Subtractive manufacturing like CNC machining, Forming Manufacturing that normally needs molds/moulds to engage with like injection molding, die casting,stamping, extrusion...


Obviously,CNC machining belongs to Subtractive manufacturing process in which one or more pre-programmed software involves to dicate the movement of tools to cut the metal materials or plastic materials even synthetic materials into desired shape as per techical documents like CAD files.
